This isn’t your usual concert night. What we stage won’t wait. The lights rise the moment begins.
Since 2003, Irving Street Rep has delivered this innovative, curriculum-integrated Black History initiative to schools across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Designed as a live Broadway-style performance showcasing dance, music, and spoken word, the program broke barriers by connecting McDonald’s owner-operators directly with students and educators—fostering a community-first relationship. Post-COVID, we evolved it into a digital experience, reaching over 450,000 students in 2024 alone and amassing more than 14 million impressions. It is now one of the most requested educational Black History programs in the region, valued for its cultural resonance, accessibility, and impact.
